Origin Story
I grew up in a family of Texas contractors. Plumbers, electricians, carpenters, welders — people who worked harder than anyone I've ever met and still struggled to grow because of how they were perceived.
Clients sized up the crew before a word was spoken. Bids were lost. Respect was withheld. And it had nothing to do with the quality of their work.
That never sat right with me. It still doesn't.
When I started Psychic Chimp in Dallas 25 years ago, I made one decision that changed everything: contractors only. Not schools. Not restaurants. Not corporate offices. Contractors.
That focus shapes everything — the garments we source, how we advise on decoration, how fast we move, and how we handle reorders. We don't treat you like any other customer, because you're not.
